my daughter is 8 months old. she sleeps in a portable crib next to our bed until she wakes up around 12:30 for a bottle; after she eats, she falls right back to sleep, and i just keep her in bed with us. before i go any further, please respect that we are not willing to do any crying it out, so the sleeping arrangements are set for now. i have 2 questions about her sleeping habits. first, she wakes up usually 3 times in the first 3 hours she is asleep (7 pm-10pm). all she wants is her pacifier replaced and a quick back rub, and she is right back to sleep. did your baby do this? for how long? second question: this week, she has woken up completely at 10:30 pm SCREAMING. she is not hungry, wet, or sick. i am able to calm her down as long as i take her out. she sits with me for fifteen minutes or so, resting her head on my chest, and then i am able to rock her back to sleep. anyone know what that is all about? i appreciate any experience and insight you can offer on the two. thanks!!!

Why use fleece as cage bottom for guinea pig?

I noticed a lot of people are using fleece blankets as the cage bottom for guinea pigs. Why is this? Wheezing cough for past couple of months?

Help getting infant twins to sleep?

My twin infants are 2 weeks old. They are currently together in one crib. They bottle feed every 3 1/2 hours round the clock, 3 oz (90ml). During the day, they wake, get changed, feed, fall asleep, then are put down easily. However, at night, starting at the 8pm feeding, they follow that same wake, change, feed, sleep pattern but when put down wake up and cry. When picked up, they calm with gentle rocking or being offered a breat (even though I am not feeding). Pacifiers are promply spit out. After that, they will not let me put them back down. happy to be put down. They do this until about the 5am feeding, where they are happy to be put down. This is keeping me awake all night and I am at the end of sanity. I sleep during the day when they sleep, but also have a five year old son to attend to. Please help. If you have experince with infants or this happened to you, I would like advice.

I think I might have anger issues!?

I think I may have anger issues...in school I am very quiet. I rarely talk in school...long story short...I just never liked talking in school, I feel like I don't belong...the school pretty much has cliques, and no I am not in high school yet. People talk about me behind my back and these four kids made a "song" in music about some kid picking a fight with me and I keep losing to the kid...they don't know me and just typing this reallllllly makes me get MAD at them. I would use a stronger word but I dont know if I really should on here. Anyway, when I go to school I can't look at the other kids that I really hate cause I am afraid I might go ballistic on them. My family comes from a big line of fighters and I know I can fight and the kids at school don't and I am a good kid in school...I am smart and I dont want these issues to get in my way of my good grades. Also, I listen to songs that are by MCR, Three Days Grace, and other kind of bands, I have noticed that most of the songs I listen to have to do with hating someone, two of my favorites are by Three Days Grace the songs are Animal I Have Become and I hate everything about you. lol!! hate to say it, but it sounds like you're overloading, plus you sound from your question like youre still pretty young so try cutting out some of the stuff for a couple days. if you're tierd than that means your body is tellin you to slow down, it needs a little more rest. try taking "one" day a week to do nothing but rest, walk earlier, dont drink or smoke that day, dont work your brain that day! Good city to relocate to?

I am originally from Los Angeles, and I have been living in Atlanta for almost 10 years now. I am ready to leave Atlanta but I'm not sure where I want to do. Can I use Apricots in a Peach tart?

So there's this one guy I really like and he's the only thing I think about all day. But anyways, heres where you come in. I don't know if he likes me back and from what I'm about to tell you I want to know if you think he might like me. Okay. Well I'll start with things from the past. A couple months ago in like January or December, he would watch (stare at) me when I was walking to school from his bus. Once, when we were coming back from spanish cl, he started walking right next to me, and then kept getting closer and closer to me as we kept walking. At recess (in 7th grade, we go outside for "recess" for 5-10 min everyday) when he's with his friends, he doesn't stare at me as much as usual and I'm not sure if thats bcuz he doesn't want his friends to catch him staring or something. to have experience already taking the ASVAB twice. you shouldn't even study to be honest because it will make you more nerves and mess up on the test. though you should take sometime just to look to see what the asvab is about and have yourself be aware what is going to be on the asvab. though studying doesn't really help, and the reason why because the asvab is a test to where you either know it or dont know it. the asvab has things such as book smart and street smart questions. after my experience of taking the asvab twice and studying my off, i believe it wasnt worth it at all. thats just my opinion and i wish you the best of luck on the test.

well i cheer for an all-stars team and i'm a flyer. well i think you might be a base or possibly a backspot.. it depends on how tall your flyers are. if you become a flyer to stretch your heelstreth/bow and arrow i get in the left (and sometimes right if needed) splits and hold it for awhile and do that daily. scorp. i would just practice standing and pulling it (same for heelstretch) to keep balance. also wrap your arms around someones waist and let them pull your leg up. heelstretch also lay on back and let someone sit on your other leg and let them push the other one down and stand up and let them pull your leg up and then make them let you go. too help flexibility and balance. also just work on making a scale straight. i have a cheer strap it it basicly a strap with 2 slips and stick one foot in one slit and pull your stretch. Do pregnancy stitches get worse before they get better?

I gave birth exacly 7 days ago today and i had 14 stitches due to a tear lly, which was really painful. They seem to be getting worse rather than better. The midwife looked at them today and said theyre healing well, but theyre hurting so much, i cant even stand for more than 10 mins at a time and they feel so heavy, it feels like a hook pulling down on them all the time. I bath them every day with warm salt water but it doesnt seem to be making a difference. They just kill me. Also, whilst i was pregnant all the way from 6 months until i gave birth, i had an enormous craving to chew the mage side of sponges, i went through about 6 sponges a day, and everyone says that when you give birth, your cravings go straight away, but i still have urges to chew sponges, even though i gave birth a week ago. One last thing, has anyone else noticed how gas and air makes your jaw go tight? I couldnt have an epidural as i was already 8cm dilated when i got to hospital, so i only had gas and air and that was it, and since i gave birth, one side of my mouth has been painfull and achy, the other sides as normal. Someone took my phone and dropped it on the ground and it opened up. I noticed that the whole inside screen was covered with mini squares. Which Fantasy Football Team is better?

The second one is better and here's why. Jake Delhomme is not as good a fantasy quarterback as Vince Young, but Young is on the cover of Madden which guarantees an injury and/or a sharp decrease in production from Young. Frank Gore is the fifth best runningback in all of fantasy and I think he'll definitely improve on last year's excellent performance. Ronnie Brown (saying he doesn't get hurt) is overdue for an 1,100 yard rushing season and he should be able to do that thanks to a much improved Dolphins' offense. Tomlinson might be the best fantasy player ever, but I'm pretty sure LT's output won't be as much as Gore and Brown's combined output. Jerious Norwood is undeserving of a starting RB job or even a roster spot on a championship-worthy fantasy football team. Moss, Fitzgerald, and Chambers completely blow-out and annihilate Galloway, Johnson, and Muhammad. L.J. Smith is going to be turned to for red-zone oppurtunities in Andy Reid's offense than McMichael will get in Linehan's offense. Plus, The Eagles have much less great receivers to work with guaranteeing a heavy work load for Smith as oppossed to the Rams who are loaded in terms of receivers with Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, and Drew Bennett. Donte Stallworth and Ted Ginn Jr. are good options at flex positions. Especially Ginn because I expect him to take the starting job of Marty Booker as the season goes on. As for Team 1's flex players, Dominc Rhodes is suspended for the first five games...or something like that and who is Robert Meachem?! Both kickers are even; you can't go wrong with Robbie Gould or Adam Vinatieri. The bench of Team 2 is way better than Team 1's. Jeff Garcia should be a decent backup QB despite playing behind a bad O-line, Samie Parker will be starting for the Cheifs opposite of Eddie Kennison, Julius Jones should be getting the bulk (about 60% of the yardage compiled between him and Barber III) of the rushing yards, and Vernon Davis should be getting at least 700 receiving yards and 6 TDs. Team 1's bench is far less superior. I'll be surprised if Dayne even manages to get 50 fantasy points this year. J.P. Losman is just going to edge the 3,000 yard ping mark and he won't even reach the twenty TD mark, infact he might throw 15 picks. Michael Jenkins is going to be useless as Atlanta will rely on Joe Horn, Alge Crumpler, Norwood, and Dunn for the huge bulk of their receiving yards. As for James Jones, who is he??? Who does he play for??? If I don't know who he is, expect him not to catch 10 pes this year. As you can see, Team 2 is a playoff-worthy team, whereas Team 1 is LT and nothing more.

You are going through so much right now. being a teenager you are dealing with all the pressures of growing up and now being seriously ill you have the added burden of feeling you may not grow up. It would be a good idea for you to talk to your Dr. at length regarding your feelings. I know not all anti-depressants are good for teenagers due to side effects but he may be able to give you something appropriate or refer you to a therapist or support group. You have a lot to handle right now and seem to be grasping for something to hold onto. I hope that you recover from your illness and go on to live a wonderful productive life. i had a congested left ear for like 1 - 2 months, but about 1-2 months ago i went to the ent doctor who said i had fluid there which was congesting it, and he gave me anti biotics, he said i could take steroids in addition to drain the liquid, but we didnt wanna use steroids, the anti biotics seemed to work and the ear felt much less congested, but about 2 months later now its begining to become congested aggain, not bothering my hearing ability, but i can actually feel theres congestion in my ear that i cant pop, (its not wax eeither) what should i do? what do u think is going on??? thanks for the help!

My 7 week old baby is having a hard time latching on. Help?

Sometimes she latches right on and then after a minute or two she pulls off and then she can latch back on and gets mad. I have to put a pacifier in her mouth and then yank it out and stick her to my and then she latches on again for a bit and then I have to keep repeating. She is gain weight fine so she is getting enough milk and she knows how to latch on because she will did it right away but she won't stay on. Sometimes I can land them upside down, but that rarely happens because it flips too fast so can't land upside down. There are so many different foot placements for this trick and I don't know which one will work for me. Why won't my freezer freeze ice cream even though it freezes water?

The freezer freezes things and some of the air in the freezer is blown over to the fridge side, that is how it works and there are air vents between the two that has to be left open and unobstructed. Also ice-cream has anti-freeze in it to keep it from freezing solid so it probably never will totaly freeze.
