Is it OK if I can learn from Buddha's teachings even if I am catholic?

Buddhism is a philosophy - a way of life. There is no deity involved, therefore no "worship". The two concepts are not incompatible. In fact, much of what the Buddha taught is very similar to what Christ taught.
