Key Generator problem?

So I have installed the program (autocad) and when I get to the registration page, i put in the serial number, and run my key generator...an "internal error#1" sign pops up and says to be sure the application and licensing screen are up.... they are. Does anyone know how to fix this!?! School starts tomorrow and I cant live with out cad!
