How to hug a guy please help?

Im going on a date with a guy i like at an amusement park. Its sadies so i asked him. Idk for sure if he likes me or not but when i asked him he seemed happy... Im really scared of rollercoasters but he loves them. Everyone says i should hold his hand on rides and stuff and then hug him... how do i hug him? Where do i hug him? How do i hold his hand? Btw were both in high school. I kno my question sounds retarded... thx
