Good city to relocate to?

I am originally from Los Angeles, and I have been living in Atlanta for almost 10 years now. I am ready to leave Atlanta but I'm not sure where I want to do. There is really nothing holding me back anymore (kid is going off to college, no job, I only have my house, which I can rent out) I miss the beach and nice weather, but I don't really want to move back to LA because I can't afford to live the way I live in Atl. Does anyone know of any places that are good? Decent cost of living/good weather/close to the coast/good place to meet people
