My computer monitor wont work?

ok well my computer monitor wont work but my computer turns on just fine fans work and everything is good but my monitor wont its just black and the light its orangish\yellowish and ive tried hitting space bar or anything to see if its in sleep mode and whenever i hit num lock or anything like that it doesnt work so i dont know if my keyboard is not working or what but i doubt its sleeping right before it did this i was playin a game and it just shut off when i tried to boot up the game and i got so mad but i havent been able to fix this problem its been like this for awhile now about 1 month almost 2 and my dad or my older brother wont do anything about it so please yall help with my problem! and if u say anything about like removing RAM or video card or anything like that please talk to me in a message or on MSN:arynthian@hotmail.com and talk to me on their about that stuff please!
